Angels for Orphans Fashion Show
WITH KELLY ENGLAND

Part 1

Part 2

The Angels for Orphans Fashion Show and party was held in Hemingway's on Discovery Bay on the 17th of September 2008. Kellyengland.com donated the "Face Forward" session which was chosen as the First Prize in the raffle. Other sponsors included Venture Photography, Curves and Post 97. Super chic Amandarling and the very elegant Mandarin Rose provided the wardrobe for the fantastic fashion show which was modelled by Irena Tomasovic, Sophie Cornu and our very own Kelly England. The evening was masterfully MC'ed by Claire Fuller.

Emmanuel F. supplied the curled beach waved hair and Denise Toms was there armed with makeup brushes and fluttering (false) eyelashes!

Island School of Dance brought their team of well rehearsed dancers, and the beautiful Amandarling Little Darlings stole the show!

Congratulations to Helen and Nathan Whitman who coordinated a wonderful 'Angels Week' and their team of 'Angels' for all of their contributions of time, funds and talent. Go Angels for Orphans! For further information about the Charity go to www.angelsfororphans.co.uk .

10 Years Younger Seminar
WITH KELLY ENGLAND

"No stone left unturned - talk about an instant make-over. Fantastic!
What a transformation. Wow!"
- Nicky Hambleton-Jones

Kelly England appeared with Nicky Hambleton Jones for an exclusive seminar named "Ten Years Younger". The much anticipated event organised by Get Smart was held at the American Club in Exchange Square in Hong Kong. One hundred guests eagerly listening to Nicky's advice on how to look younger. Meanwhile, Kelly England whisked off the lucky winner Sara, a teacher based in Hong Kong for her makeover. In just two racing hours Kelly England transformed Sara's hair, makeup, clothing and taught her a thing or two about essential grooming. A five minute mini sprint with the team from the VIP suit in the Four Season's Spa and back through Lane Crawford and IFC on the return to the stage caused many looks of bemusement by unsuspecting shoppers.

A quick blast of hairspray and a lick of lipgloss and Sara was waltzed back onto the stage with Nicky Hambleton Jones who proclaimed that she looked 'amazing' whilst the audience cheered! Sara's good spirit allowed Philip George to colour her hair in just 3 minutes and for her makeup sponsored by Bobby Brown to be completed in record time.

"Most makeovers that I do for ladies are no-where near as intense as this one - two hours was really a challenge! However, the team worked well together and we attacked her in unison with our brushes, sponges, scissors and shoes! Sara needed an overall revamp according to her lovely friend Ruth who wrote to us and that is what she most certainly got. Sara took our professional advice without hesitation and was very open to a new look and this helped enormously to make it a success. The makeover was literally a race against time but it was just wonderful to see Sara confidently standing on the stage whilst the audience and Nicky offered their compliments to her. We wish Sara all the best with her new look and hope she realises how much potential she has under those baggy clothes and makeup free face!" says Kelly England.
