MAKEUP LOOKS THIS COMING SEASON

They showed models in exactly the makeup of the season. If in doubt for inspiration then think 'diva', think 'pop'. Makeup now is to be enjoyed, not simply to cover imperfections."

COLOURS TO GO FOR
All pastels, shimmers especially blue and lilac.
FACE FOCUS
Eyes
Pastel, candy coloured eye shadows in eggshell blue, light green, and lilac. Don't miss this chance to use deep blue eyeliner. Have confidence and show your new fun look with pride. Ditch the boring greys of last season and replace them with metallic silver. Throw out your black eyeliner and replace it with white liner and apply to your lower lids for that old school model secret giving an instant bright eyed look.
Lips
Two major lip looks are the way forward.
1. Matt pale pink for a slick look while letting the eyes max out for attention.
2. Orangey red - the youthful, fresh take on bold red lip 1930's style. Think Keira Knightly in her latest movie Atonement. PS - If you're going bright on your lips, remember to tone down the rest of your makeup.
Brows
Stop those late night plucking sessions as its official - bushy brows are back. Thin, razored brows are OVER which I am personally really pleased about as more natural looking brows really shape the face and make eyes look better.
Nails
This Spring nails are no longer something to be forgotten (and chewed!) but something to celebrate. Forget french manicures and instead go wild with bold metallics and even glitter. Top colour for 2008 include matt pink, orange, yellow, and even navy blue! Chanel's Le Vernis Polish in Blue Satin is this season's IT polish.
